Found positive in dope test – IPL ban Mohammad Asif for one year
On Friday by the Indian Premier League (IPL) banned Pakistani pacer Mohammad Asif for one year for a positive dope test. the ban confirmed Asif’s agent Salman Ahmed.
The test report found Asif uses banned drug Nandrolone during the IPL tournament last year. He had confessed before the Indian Premier League tribunal committee that he had taken performance-enhancing drug during his period with the Delhi Daredevils
After Asif returns to Pakistan the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is also going to conduct an internal hearing. More bad news awaited the dope tainted pacer after his B sample tested posited. The IPL then set October 11 as the date for Asif’s hearing after a request from the pacer.
