France Gives Condemnation of Gaza Land Offensive By Israel

So far, the Israeli government decided to go ahead with the land invasion of the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip. The land invasion comes after the long week of Israeli airstrikes into Gaza. So far, the United States is standing by Israeli. However, it cautioned Israel to avoid civilian casualties.

In response, Hamas continued its rocket attacks onto Israeli soil.

There was the possibility that a land offensive would take place after the Israeli elections. However, Israel has launched a land offensive of tanks and soldiers into the Gaza Strip. So far, the land offensive gained much international backlash.

The French government has given forth its condemnation of Israel’s land offensive. At the same time, it condemned Hamas for continuing to send rockets onto Israeli soil. So far, this is a situation that could bring Iran, Syria, and Lebanon into the mix. It could be a catalyst that combines this dilemma with the combined dilemma with Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India. It could also be combined with the situation with the Iraq War. Plus, Turkey could also get thrown into the mix.

Overall, it spells one massive international problem for Barack Obama once he takes office of the United States President on January 20. So far, Obama has kept quiet on the situation. However, he is keeping a close watch on it all. How will Obama respond? We will have to wait.

Right now, let’s focus on the rest of the world.

France has given its condemnation of the Israeli land offensive.

France condemns the Israeli ground offensive against Gaza as it condemns the continuation of rocket firing,” said the French Foreign ministry.

It also adds that it makes things harder on the rest of the world to end the fighting.
