France’s ambassador in Islamabad Regis d Belenet called on chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Maula

ISLAMABAD: France’s ambassador in Islamabad Regis d Belenet called on chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahman here on Wednesday.Fazl-ur-Rahman in the meeting briefed the French envoy about his party’s strategy in national elections telling him that his party has decided to contest general elections. The ambassador also discussed Swat operation and the situation in tribal areas with the JUI leader. Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hyderi who was also present in the meeting said the French ambassador lauded the JUI’s decision to contest the polls.
