FRENCH PRESIDENT MARRIES HIS GIRLFRIEND

In a grand finale to their romance, according to authentic reports appearing in the press, French President Nicolas Sarkozy has finally married his girlfriend Ms.Carla Bruni at the Elysee Palace today (Saturday).

According to relaible sources, the wedding took place at 11 A.M., French local time which was confirmed by Bruni’s mother, Ms.Marisa Borni. The wedding was conducted by Mayor, Francois Label. In his words,’I married two voeters, who live at 55, Rue du Faubourg St Honore’ which is the official address of the Elysee Palace. According to him the bride was ravishing and the bridegroom was not bad either. The weddng took place in a room on the First Floor, lasted about 20 minutes in the presence of about 20 people consisting of close family members and friends. The last person to get married in the Place was Napoleon III in 1858.

The French President has been hitting the headlines for his affairs with Ms.Carla Bruni evesince their meeting each other took place in Dec,007 or so. They were photographed together visiting Parry’s Disneyland and they spent the Chrismas holidays together in Egypt. Ms.Bruni was supposed to have accompanied him on his trip to India,but, by not doing so she had spared the Indian Protocol lot of embarassment.

There was harsh criticism in the press, the opposition  and his popularity took a dip very badly as French people did not approve his making public what should have his private life. He was snubbed as ‘President Bling Bling’ for his obsession with the rich and famous. He was even described as a modern age Louis XIV.

Ms.Bruni is described by the media as a maneater. She was previously linked with rockstars Mick Jagger, and Eric Clapton, also U.S.Businessman, Donal Trump and with the former French Primemnister Laurent Fabius. She is a well known left sympathiser as opposed to Mr.Sarkozy who is right-winger.

Well, none of the criticisms or othe opposition of Srkozy’ mother or even the reported views of Ms.bruni that she does not belive in marriage did not deter the couples from tying the not.
