Secular ruling party ANP in NWFP has become prime target of militants, ‘Awami National Party MPA Mr. Alamzeb Khan was killed in bomb attack on Wednesday, when he came out from his residence in his car, his car was hit by a bomb planted in a motorcycle parked near his residence on Dalazak road Peshawar, six other persons were also injured,’ sources have said.
According to media reports on Wednesday Mr. Richard Hallbroke special envoy of President Obama on Pakistan and Afghanistan had also arrived in Peshawar capital of NWFP and had visited tribal area of Mehmand Agency. President Obama in a press conference has said that Alqeeda hide outs in FATA areas of Pakistan are not acceptable, these hide outs are also dangerous for Pakistan too, Mr. Holbrook’s visit of Pakistan is aimed at convincing Pakistan’s leadership in this respect.

Last week 39 security forces men were released from captivity of militants in Swat on a pre condition that they will resign from their jobs.
According to BBC news report Alqaeda leader Yazeed based in Afghanistan has claimed responsibility for Mumbai attacks and had threatened to carry out similar attacks on India in a news video released by Alqaeda.
According to participants in VOA Urdu service talk show Mr. John abducted UN official from Quetta capital of Baluchistan was abducted by Baluchistan Liberation United Front which is a new organization and was not known before this incident.
