Srinagar, July 16 (Scoop News) – Friday Following Shab-e-Meiraj was celebrated with religious fervor and enthusiasm all across the State. Devotees in large numbers offered Zuhar prayers at shrines, khanqahs and mosques.
The biggest congregation was held at Asar-i-Sharief Hazratbal, where thousands of devotees thronged in tune with the age-old practice. They offered Zuhar prayers and soon afterwards were blessed with the glimpse of the holy relic of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
On this auspicious occasion, the administration had put all arrangements in place to ensure the delivery of un-interrupted supply of essential services and other facilities to the devotees.
