Friday Night turns into a Chaos

On the night of 24 October, Friday, the Employee of Casino Annapurna clashed with the police force creating a tense situation of violence and slogs on the Durbarmarg road, Nepal.
The clash took its toll, when the employees retaliated the so called police raid on the casino to check illegal playing of Nepalese in the casino. Although Nepalese are prohibited to enter the casinos in the country, the casinos at the Five Star hotels however allow Nepalese. More over, after the concern showed by Minister Bam Dev Gautam, the police had been regularly monitoring the issue. With in seconds the casino was surrounded by other casinos employees of the valley where together they retaliated the police and chanted anti slogans against the government and police. Police have claimed that their staffs, who had been inside were attacked and man handled. Police lobbed tear gas shells to disperse the agitating employees who started pelting stones and burning tyres.
