The prices of fuel have been decreased by Nrs 5 in Petrol and Nrs 7.96 in the Aviation fuel, states the Ministry of Supplies of Nepal on Saturday. Previously, the petrol price was 100 per litre. Though, the price adjustment was made due to the current fluctuation of international fuel prices but it failed to address the prices of widely used Kerosene and cooking gas.
Similarly, the government has evicted the dual price of diesel, fixing it at standard rate of Nrs 70 per Litre. Earlier, the normal price was Rs 80 per Litre where subsided diesel was sold at Nrs 70.
