Kargil, June 13, (Scoop News)- Galdan Tri Rinpochey accompanied by Minister of State for Science and Technology and School Education, Faroz Ahmad Khan reached Padum Zanskar from Leh the other day.
On their reaching a rousing reception was accorded to the visiting dignitaries by Executive Councillor, Tourism, Information and Zanskar Affairs, Skalzang Wangyal, Executive Councillor, Education and Social Welfare, Sheikh Mohammad Hussain Rasaie, LAHDC Kargil, Councillors, SDM Zanskar, President Zanskar Buddist Association, President Zanskar Gompa Association and thousands of devotees at civil Helipad Padum.
Later, Galdan Tri Rinpochey attended a seminar organised by the Zanskar Student Union at Padum in which large number of students and devotees participated. He interacted with the cross sections of the society there.
Rinpochey also visited to Karsha Gompa and Stakrimo Gompa.
