Obama Obama Obama. Plenty would like to believe that his arrival will squash any African American concerns that we’re just not liked. Never mind colorism right folks? As an African American I find it interesting to hear comparisons to the Civil Rights movement with the Gay movement. Having watched the movie Milk I must admit I was a bit turned off by all of the pale booty action through the film. But then again it was the 60’s. But here’s the question that nags me these days… IS THE GAY MOVEMENT THE NEW CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT?
