CHITRAL: Major General Sanaullah Shahid Memorial Cup football tournament ended on Sunday at Murad stadium Drosh. Final match played between 3 Wing Chitral Scouts and Domoon Club Broze. After a thrilling and zealous contest Domoon Football team Broze stood winner defeating its rival CS by2:0. Huge number of spectators were present to witness the final match. Social worker Faruq Ahmed of Goldoor Chitral was Chief Guest while Wing Commander 3 Wing Chitral Scouts Lt. Colonel Burhan was also present on the occasion. Talking to the players Col. Burhan urged the youth to promote harmony and tolerance and keep close eyes on anti-state elements. He stressed upon arrangement of sports activities to develop healthy society.
Talking on final ceremony Razitubillah the district vice president of PTI said that this tournament was organized to pay high tributes to Shaheed Major General Sanaullah and other martyrs of Pak-Army. He said that the people of Chitral and workers of PTI would always stand with the armed forces and will not allow anyone to destabilize our country.
Later on Chief Guest and Col. Burhan distributed prizes among the players.
