General Sinha praises for secular & composite culture of people of J&K

 

New Delhi/JammuFebruary 05(Scoop News) – Lt. General (retd.) S.K. Sinha, Former Governor of J&K today had high praise for the secular and composite culture of the people of Jammu and Kashmir which they maintained even during the partition of India in 1947.

 

S.K. Sinha, while releasing  latest book of Prof. Bhim Singh on Jammu and Kashmir ‘The Blunders and Way Out’ in a function held in New Delhi, described the book as highly informative with daring disclosures and comments which Prof. Bhim Singh could only do in the present scenario.

The Former Governor while endorsing the blunders committed by the echelons of power holding reins at the Centre since 1947 commented that it was a political blunder to go for a ceasefire and stop the Indian Army marching towards Muzaffrabad in 1948. He had high praise for the secular and composite culture of the people of Jammu and Kashmir which they maintained even during the partition of India in 1947. He described the author of the book, Prof. Bhim Singh as a multi-faceted personality in different fields, a successful operator both in politics and civil society.

The publisher,  Narender Kumar of Har-Anand Publications Pvt. Ltd. congratulated the author for writing boldly, fearlessly and farsightedly whether it was Iraq, Yugoslavia, Kashmir or elsewhere. He said that the latest book, ‘The Blunders and Way Out’ was a great effort on the part of the author to collect such an authentic information on Jammu and Kashmir which certainly shall help the search agencies on the subject.

Former Election Commissioner,  GVG Krishnamurthy described Prof. Bhim Singh’s effort to write on Kashmir as highly daring and purposeful. He recalled his days in nineties how Election Commission drew support from Bhim Singh’s PILs in Supreme Court. He urged that those who need correct and positive information on Jammu and Kashmir they have to go through the Blunders and Way Out.

 Muzaffar Shah, Vice President of Awami National Conference and grandson of Sheikh Mohd. Abdullah congratulated Prof. Bhim Singh for the Blunders and Way Out which he proposed should be read by every Indian to understand the basics and hidden facts on Jammu and Kashmir.

 Subhash Goyal, Chairman, STIC Travels, social activist and former President of Delhi Students Union in his vote of thanks described Bhim Singh as imaginary character in the modern politics of the Asian World. He said that Prof. Bhim Singh is highly committed nationalist, fighter for the cause of justice and truth and there is no parallel to him in the modern political history. The meeting was moderated by Ms. Nasreen Hamid, Joint Editor of the Voice of Millions.
