Liverpool was held to another draw, this time by Stoke City. Liverpool is currently leading the EPL points table but they have to worry about their positions becuase they are 4 points clear of Chelsea who have a game in hand and 8 points away from Manchester United who have 3 games left. The race to winning EPL title is still on.
Both the teams played well and Liverpool missed some good chances with Gerrard hitting goal posts in dying minutes. Overall, it was a fair result.
In the post match conference, Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez said, "We’re not happy but it was a difficult game. We could have won at the end. It’s better than losing. Stoke is a very difficult team to play against so every throw-in, free-kick and corner is a problem. I think we are at the top of the table so we are still in a very good position."
