GOC Malakand Division inaugurated ground breaking of Arando goal Link road

CHITRAL: General Officer Commanding (GOC) 17 Division Malakand Major General Javed Mahmood Bukhari HI (M) inaugurated ground breaking of Arando Goal link road. He was chief guest on the occasion of ground breaking ceremony of Arano goal link road. The road is constructing by Sarhad Rural Support Program (SRSP) with financial support of Pakistan Afghanistan Tajikistan regional Integrated Program (PATRIP) a German based organization.
Addressing on the occasion Chief Executive Officer of SRSP Shahzada Masoodul Mulk thanked to Provincial, Federal government as well as to foreign donor agencies who supporting in different developmental schemes of Chitral. He assured that SRSP trust on transparency and accountability and that is why a large number of international organizations (donor agencies) donate huge fund through SRSP for different programs to bring positive changes in lives of this backward region.
Program Manger Khadimullah said that this 13.5 kilometers long road will take cost of 110 million and it will be completed in exemplary short period of 18 months. This will benefit 35 villages of this back ward areas situated on Pak Afghan border area.
Traditional gifts were presented to chief guest by CEO Shahzada Masoodul Mulk. Addressing on the occasion Maj General Javed Bukhari thanked to SRSP and especially hailed contribution and sincerely efforts of Masoodul Mulk for launching different developmental schemes in the area as well in entire province of KPK.
He assured that Pak Army are fully equipped and ready to encounter any incidence and no will harm Pakistan and Pakistani in future.
MNA Chitral Iftikharuddin, Deputy Commissioner Ameenul Haq, Lt Col Naveed and other civilian and military officers were present on the occasion.
