Barbara’s Poetry From The Heart Corner
A young child…
pushed aside
despair and fear gnaws
a worthless shell
no heart and soul
empty-headiness
desires pointless
tugs pull me in many directions.
Seeks God’s help…
He draws me beneath His wings
a newborn
cuddles, warms, provides security
grants refuge and confidence
shields and nurses my wounds
terrors depart
leaves a soul whole and free.
