The Lord my God, is an awesome God who promised through his prophets in the Old Testaments of the Holy Bible about His plans of redemption for mankind.
In Isaiah God tells us about the birth of a child named Jesus, Emanuel-God with us, the Messiah. Isaiah also lends a glimpse of the reason why the Messiah has come.
But then after Isaiah would fore-tell of this happening, God reveals yet a more important prophesy to yet another one of his earlier prophets, the prophet Ezekiel. Through Ezekiel Almighty God reveals apart of his promised plan to restore man to God.
EZEKIEL: 37: 12-14; "Therefore prophesy and say unto them, "Thus sayeth the Lord God, Behold my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves and brought you out of your graves. And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I The Lord have spoken it, and performed it," Saith the Lord."
The Lord our God, our beloved Father reveals to Ezekiel through prophecy that He will come to earth and that during that visit, He will enter into all of the graves of the land and seas to visit the dead and reclaim them as His own and take them out of their graves.
The Lord our God also tells Ezekiel through his prophesy that he will put His Holy Spirit into man so that man can know that He is The Lord God and that The Lord God dwells within mankind, each of us.
Our Heavenly Father God, through Christ Jesus, expresses to all of us just how important we are to Him and to Our Father, and how he desires that each one of us receives the opportunity to know him intimately and have a personal and close relationship together. Jesus speaks about the Father’s love for us at JOHN: 3: 14-18
Jesus gives a demonstration of God’s power over death when he resurrects Lazarus in Bethany after being three days in the grave, as we read in JOHN: 11: 11-26. It is in these scriptures where Jesus makes one of his more profound statements in verses 25-26; "I am the resurrection, and the life: He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die."
The Apostle Peter addresses the fulfillment of a portion of this prophesy in his first Epistle where we read the following: (The first coming of Christ is fulfilled.)
l PETER: 4: 6; "For this cause was the Gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged, according to men in the flesh, but live in according to God in the Spirit."
Almighty Father God had a promise from Jesus that all whether dead or alive of His children should have the chance to choose God and choose to follow Him and love Him as He loved them.
A part of Almighty God’s Prophecy is fulfilled through Jesus as he personally visits the dead from Adam to His crucifixion, offering the fulfillment of God’s promise to Ezekiel to all that died prior to his crucifixion and resurrection, that they might choose.
He will return a second time prior to the Great Tribulation and Armegeddon to collect those dead and gather up by his angels those believers living that they might join him in the heavens. This will be the (second coming) the one we refer to as gathering of the redeemed or the gathering of saints or the Great Rapture of the believers.
Lastly, after the ending of The Great Tribulation and Armegeddon there will be a third and final chance for both those dead and those still living, to choose between following Jesus or satan. This third and final gathering is recorded in REVELATION: 21: 6-8 AND 22: 12;
"And he said unto me, ‘ It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I shall be his God and he shall be my son. But, the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake of fire which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
I realize that the mention of the "Second Death" is not popular with all of the various "Christian" sects, BUT, I feel that since Almighty God My Father and Christ Jesus, felt it necessary to record it in the Holy Bible, then who am I to fail or refused to give mention to it as it expresses God’s desire that all of His children have the opportunity to be sanctified and re-join God, as a member of His family.
Almighty God through Christ Jesus would not have related this to the Apostle John to record in the Book of REVELATION, if it were not so, for we know that God is inerrant, incapable of making a mistake, and does not lie.
God promised man a saviour a redeemer. God sent Jesus. God promises there will come a time when evil and death will be erased from our lives. This too will come to pass.
