God’s Interception

Tears fell down her cheeks
pain more than could be tolerated
he was lost straightaway.
Oceans have no mercy
faded amid mists hanging low
echoes of a voice cries in her ears.

Left standing on wet sand
waves grab at ankles
shows power and urgency.
An angel fuses in the background
unaware to beachgoers
strong wings hover the body.

Sunbeams capture the sea
a halo of rainbows greets
a soul rescued by an angel
drawn to shore
screams steal the scene
weeping’s become smiles.

God intercedes, the briny beckons
departure delayed
accomplishments to perform
love to rain
gifts to donate
life is precious, don’t test it!
