Google has developed a software to help sleuths track down child sex offenders online.The software was originally created for blocking copy righted videos in its popular sight You Tube
Later it was realized by the Google engineers that the pattern recognition technique of the software can also be used identifying child sex abuse patterns online.
Google is joining hands with the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children in this venture. NCMEC tracks child sex abuse images on the Net and helps the police to rescue thje children and nab suspected abusers.
According to Google, the software will make difficult for sites to peddle child pornography too.
