Kabul: A delegation from the Education Ministry in Kabul yesterday visited the Nazo Ana Secondary School in Kandahar, where its female students’ faces were sprayed with acid by unknown terrorists.
The delegation, headed by an official of the Ministry, Haji Mohammad Anas, met teachers and students of the school and assured them that the government was aware of their problems and was planning for security measures.
They expressed their sympathy with the victims of the widely condemned coward attack and promised assistance to their families.
Unknown terrorists sprayed the faces of at least 8 female students
of this school with acid on Nov. 12, when they were on their way to attend their classes.
