Jammu, December 01, (Scoop News)- Bharatiya Janata Party’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narinder Modi’s ‘Lalkar rally’ today at Moulana Azad Stadium, in Jammu accuses the J&K state government of gender bias.
He said that men and women do not have equal rights in Jammu and Kashmir, “We donot want a separate state here but a super state”, Modi said.
He said,”I am here to do progressive politics.”
Modi said that the Centre should be willing to discuss the status of Article 370 of Constitution for the state of Jammu and Kashmir. He then moved on to the Prime Minister on the topic and said that Pandit Nehru had promised that it would at some point be removed. “You talk about implementing what great people said but if it is the case then Mr Prime Minister why aren’t you debating this?” Modi said.He calls for a debate on article 370.
Modi also attacks centre’s policy on Pakistan.
Earlier as Modi stepped in at the MA stadium in Jammu, the crowd chanted his name several times. While addressing the masses, he said he was fortunate to have work for the organisation in J&K and could recollect some old memories.
