Jammu /Srinagar,, January 13, (Scoop News)- J&K Governor,N. N. Vohra,Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah,Dy CM, Tara Chand,Ministers and Legislatures greet people on Eid-i-Milad.
N. N. Vohra, Governor, has greeted the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) and expressed sincere hope that this auspicious occasion would be the harbinger of harmony, peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
In a message of greetings, the Governor said that Islam teaches us the values of brotherhood, simplicity, compassion and morality, all of which need to be vigorously inculcated in today’s trouble torn world.
The Governor prayed for the well-being and happiness of the people of the State.
Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has felicitated people on Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) wishing them happiness and prosperity.
In a greetings message issued here today, the Chief Minister said that the Birthday of Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) provides us opportunity to pray and seek forgiveness and blessings from the Almighty for the entire mankind.
“Let the day be harbinger of peace and development for the State and the Country”, Omar prayed.
Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand has felicitated people on Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) wishing them happiness and well being.
In his greeting message, the Deputy Chief Minister prayed for peace, prosperity and development of the State and hoped that the day be harbinger of progress in the State and the country.
Chairman, Legislative Council, Amrit Malhotra has felicitated the people on the occasion of Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) whishing them well-being and prosperity.
On the occasion, he prayed for the well-being and happiness of the people of the State.
Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Mubarak Gul has felicitated people on Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) wishing them happiness and prosperity.

Mufti, Mehbooba greet people on Eid Milad-Un-Nabi
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and party president Mehbooba Mufti have greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-Un-Nabi.
In their message the PDP leaders said that Islam, as a religion of peace and brotherhood, has been brought to us through the Holy Prophet (SAW), whose life was an embodiment of love, equality and brotherhood. They said the auspicious occasion provides us an opportunity to pray and seek forgiveness and blessings from the Allah for the entire humanity.
