Jammu, December 23, (Scoop News)- Shubdeep Singh, youngest music director, who has given music in four films in Indian Film Industry, Anmol Jaswal, runner up, Indian Idol music contest, Ms. Sonali Dogra, runner up Voice of Punjab music contest, Satinder Shanu, participant Chota Ustad-Do Deshon Ki Eik Kahani, music contest, Rabjot Singh, winner Choona Hain Aasman, Jagan Jot Singh, winner of Choona Hai Aasman, junior category Ms Anjusha Sharma, runner up Awaz Punjab Di, Ms. Vidhi Jaswal, and three qualifiers of Rashtriya Indian Military College Exam-2012 Anirudh Singh, Abdul Hanan Zargar, Hirdyansh Ravi Sharma were felicitated by N.N. Vohra, the Governor, in a function organized by Duggar Vikas Manch at Zorawar Singh Auditorium in Jammu University.
A colourful cultural programme, comprising a Sufi dance and songs sung by those who were honoured was presented on the occasion.
Governor congratulated the President Dineshwar Singh Jamwal and the management of Duggar Vikas Manch for organizing a programme to recognize and encourage the talented youth by presenting them saropas and awards. He said that the youth of today is the leader of tomorrow and such public recognitions contribute towards boosting their morale and inspiring young boys and girls to excel in their chosen fields.
Governor stressed the importance of also recognizing the contribution of parents and teachers who are instrumental in nurturing the youth.
Governor wished all the awardees continuing success in all their future endeavours.
