Heather Bresch, the daughter of West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin III, wrongly received an M.B.A. degree, it has been revealed by the NY Times. Apparently Heather Bresch lacked the required academic credits to gain the degree.
As a result of the controversy surrounding Heather Bresch, West Virginia University President Mike Garrison will leave his post in September.
The investigation has uncovered a tight web of inside connections. Mike Garrison is a close friend of Heather Bresch’s father Governor Manchin. In addition, Heather Bresch is currently Cheif Operating Officer of drug manufacturer Mylan– and Mylan is a major donor to both Governor Manchin and West Virginia University.
Heather Bresch is currently 38. Her executive profile on Mylan has already been corrected, saying only that she has an undergraduate degree from West Virginia University.
