Jammu, February 09 (Scoop News) – Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla has said that the Government would provided all facilities to Kashmiri migrants at Jagti like road connectivity, regular power supply, safe drinking water, healthcare, sanitation, education besides sports infrastructure.
This was stated by the Minister while interacting with Kashmiri migrants after assessing their development related problems during his tour to
Minister of State for Revenue, Home and Tourism Nasir Aslam Wani besides Relief Commissioner (M) Vinod Koul, Assistant Commissioner, Relief Ashwani Khajuria and other senior officers of Youth Services and Sports, PHE, R&B and PDD accompanied the Minister.
Responding to the demands raised during the meeting, Bhalla said the Government has taken up the demand of the enhancement of relief to the Kashmiri Migrants with the concerned quarters. He expressed optimism for a positive outcome. He said Central and State Governments are fully aware of KMs hardships and are making all out efforts to address the same in a phased manner.
For providing better medicare facilities to the inmates, the Minister said Government has constructed a fully equipped hospital in the township adding that the hospital would be made fully functional by June 2012. Regarding opening of J&K Bank branch with ATM facilities, he said the proposal submitted in this regard has been cleared by the bank authorities adding the facilities would be provided shortly to the inhabitants.

The Minister apprised that the Government has already allotted 58 shops to the unemployed Kashmiri youth for running their own business establishments adding that instructions have been issued to Relief Commissioner (M) to construct more 200 shops in the township so that the left out unemployed youth would be accommodated there.

Responding to the demand of unemployed Kashmiri youth, the Minister said the matter with regard to on-spot-recruitment in Police department has been taken up at the appropriate forum.
