GROOM MUST BE A SOFTWARE ENGINEER

There are six close friends living in a South Asian under-developed country. Among them two are divorced and the remaining four are never married bachelors. Three among them were software engineers with B.Tech and MCA degrees doing software related jobs in reputed corporate companies in U.S. and in India. The remaining three, one is Reporter, one is Lawyer and another is Marketing executive.  One day all six went on tourist-itenary to their country districts. There they have come across one Marriage Bureau Broker. The Marriage Broker on knowing that all six were not yet married said he will show good alliances for them in the on going matrimonial convention in that place.

The first soft-ware engineer is a divorcee and working in United States and earning 1,00,000 per month but has got bald head, some belly and diabetes. The Second software engineer is short but earning 75,000 per month and also has got piles problems, as he continuously sits before the computer in his office. The Third Software engineer is earning 60,000 per month and very rich but has got bald head and also high Blood Pressure. The Lawyer is healthy but average looking and is earning only 15,000 per month. The Reporter is handsome but is earning only 12,000 per month. Finally the Sales executive is well built and handsome but is earning only 7,000 per month.

Marriage Broker took all the six guys to the matrimonial convention centre, where several prospective brides, grooms and their parents gathered together for searching marriage alliances. There the Marriage Broker introduced all six grooms to the brides and to their parents and explained about their education, job and salary details. Father of a B.Tech girl came forward and choose the first Software engineer, eventhough he is divorced, because he is working in United States and earning 1,00,000 per month. Girl also agreed to marry him because he is working in United States, despite having bald head, protuberant belly and diabetes problem.

Next, parents of another girl having M.Sc degree queried the Second Software engineer, “Where are you working and how much you are earning”. The second groom said he is awaiting divorce and working in a top multinational corporate organization and earning 75,000 per month, but frankly said he is a chain smoker and has got piles problem. In spite of his piles problem, smoking habit and his awaiting divorce status, their daughter agreed for the marriage with him, because he is earning well, so she thought that she can enjoy her life with his high earnings.

Next, the turn of third software engineer came. A girl who studied MBA degree chose the 60,000 per month groom in spite of having bald head and blood-pressure problem to him. When marriage broker cautioned her about his health problem she said ‘ what so if he has bald head I will buy a wig for him and give him Blood pressure pills, if I do not marry him just for that reason I will lose my happy life, because he is rich and earning much”!!!!!!!.

Next came the turn of Lawyer, Reporter and Marketing Executive. But the parents of the girls did not even see the faces of these three grooms on knowing their qualifications and salary details from the Marriage broker. But the three grooms on their own initivative approached the parents of other girls gathered there and beseeched “sir, sir, we three are first marriage never married healthy grooms, we will marry your daughters and we treat them well and we do not even demand dowry, sir, sir please sir”.  The prospective brides’ parents saw the three grooms with peevish and heckling looks from top to bottom, thinking they are fools, and declared “we are looking for software engineers, Green-card holders, not for Lawyers, Reporters and Marketing Executive fellows working here!!!!!!”.  Even ordinary conventional degree holding girls did not prefer them. Those girls asked “Daddy, Daddy we too want Software engineers and U.S.Green-card holders”.  Ok, Ok Babies we will search for you Software Engineer grooms and Green-Card holders “said the parents. With this story every one in this world must understand the realistic situations prevalent in the under developed nations.  By  dchaitanya.
