Growing fear of militants

Today on Friday 10-11-2007 in a press statement district Nazim of Kohat Mr. Gohar Saifullah Khan has expressed his concern over growing obscenity and immoral activities in Kohat district, he has stressed upon CD shop owners to stop their business which is not only immoral but is also contrary to Islamic Shariat.

The Nazim of Kohat has said that law and order situation is deteriorating; to ameliorate it we must avoid unIslamic activities, immediate closure of CD shops is need of the hour; he has directed local administration to take necessary steps in this regard.

The Nazim has ordered CD shop owners to close their business and shall opt for some alternate business which shall be compatible with Islamic Shariat laws.

After suicide bomb attack at  Peshawer residence of federal Minister Mr. Amir Maqam in which three policemen and suicide bomber were killed on Thursday 9-11-2007, fear of Islamic militants is spread around the province, it is no surprise that District Nazim Kohat Mr. Gohar Saifullah Khan son of Seith Saifullah Khan a world class smuggler popularly known as king of charas has issued directives to local administration regarding closure of CD shops.

District Nazim in Pakistan is equalent to city Mayor in USA, directives of district Nazim in Kohat regarding closure of CD shops are unique in a way that he belongs to ruling party Muslim League (Q), never before such directives were issued by any Nazim in any district of Pakistan.
