Rally held for releasing of PPP Leaders.

CHITRAL: A protest rally for releasing of PPP leaders held here at Drosh some 45 KM from here. The rally was started from Sheshiko Bridge carrying banners  inscribing the message for early releasing of two arrested person chanting slogan and reached Drosh old Bazaar square where it converted into a public gathering. The public meeting presided over by Maulana Qazi Abdul Raoof Naib Amir JUI Drosh Tehsil. Elites of the area, former Nazimeen, leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party and representatives of other political and religious parties delivered speeches. They anger protesters strongly criticized Drosh police for arresting two PPP leaders Haji Inzar Gul and former Nazim UN Sheshikoh Sher Muhammad under Anti Terrorism Act while FIR lodged against 60 other persons. They termed arrested persons innocent who have no link with the land dispute case between Gujar tribes and MNA Chitral Prince Muhayuddin. They said that Supreme Court of Pakistan have decided the case and the land was decided in favor of MNA but the local administration handed over him extra land excluding of the court verdict they alleged. They also demanded for early transfer out of District Officer Revenue and Estate from Chitral who they alleged working on the gestures of politicians. They also demanded for implementation of 1975 Notification where the learned court and government has decided to be declare all pastures, barren land, forest area mountains as state property but no implementation was did by the local administration so far. They anger protesters warned the administration to be restrain from such tactics otherwise they would be caused for deteriorating peaceful environment of Chitral.

They also passed a unanimous resolution and through a resolution they declared the fake FIR lodged against these persons who were arrested under 109, 7/8 ATA and these persons are innocent because they were busy in a meeting with DORE and DFO on the day of the incidence. They passed a unanimous resolution demanding for chalking (finishing) of FIR against PPP leaders which were lodged on account of political revenge. They urged for giving punishment who violated the law and they assured for their fully support. They demanded for early releasing honorable citizen from Gujar tribes Haji Inzar Gul and former UN Nazim Sher Muhammad who were arrested only on political prejudice and revenge and arrested under terrorism charges and kept in lock up under physical remand. They warned if they helpless Gujar brethren were harassed they will continue their peaceful protest as they preserve its rights under constitution of Pakistan. They alleged that remaining and supporters of Parvez Musharaf are trying for soft corner in assembly and ruling party who involved in brutality and pressurizing district administration for the sack of his negative purposes.
 Through a resolution they appeal to President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani as well Chief Minister of Khyber Pukhtoonhwa for issuing releasing order of Haji Inzar Gul and Sher Muhammad and the Gujar family may not be compelled to kick a movement on large scale. Later on they announced that they will given mass arrestment to Drosh police as a protest of lodging fake FIR under anti terrorism act against leaders of PPP from Gujar family. They also approached to police station Drosh hence some elites of the area negotiated with sub Divisional police officer Drosh Inayatullah Khan, SHO police station Drosh Mir Azam and decided to postponed their protest for a few days by giving 13 June as deadline. More than thousands of people participated in protest rally and public meeting later on it was disbursed peacefully. Those who spoke on the occasion were Noor Hameed, Haji Muhammad Shifa president Human Rights Drosh, Abdul Quddos, Haji Khurshid Ali Khan, Mufti Mahmoodul Hassan, Abdul Bari former UC Nazim Drosh, Abdul Subbor president PPP Drosh, Inamul Haq and president of the meeting Qazi Abdul Raoof.
