Hama’s fired Rocket, lands in Israeli city
On Tuesday Hamas fired a rocket from the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip landed in the Israeli city of Ashkelon. Israeli officials confirmed the attack and no casualties.
In Israeli radio Benny Vaknin Ashkelon’s mayor told "rocket struck the heart of a residential neighborhood." He also notes it landed in an open area. Also Vaknin said, "To the best of my knowledge when it’s a Grad rocket, it’s from Hamas,"
Rockets often fired by the Palestinians to Israel cities from January 18.Ashkelon is 12 km (7 miles) distance from the Gaza seaboard.
