We are deeply grateful to you, our passionate community of 10,000 reporters, for making GroundReport the democratic journalism organization it is today.
You’ve published over 100,000 firsthand articles and opinion pieces, and reached a global audience through syndicators like Google News. You’ve informed, illuminated, and inspired millions by opening their eyes to urgent global issues and unheard perspectives. And together you’ve bravely built a respectful, supportive community of international reporters, both professional and aspiring.
Thank you for believing in GroundReport’s mission and being a part of its journey. We hope that you will share GroundReport with those who could benefit from – and contribute to – our platform for freedom of speech.
To kick off the new year, we are happy to share a few recent developments:
- GroundReport introduced Recognition Awards, a way to thank and highlight exceptional stories and reporters. See our October recipients here.
- We’ve expanded our Development Team, and will be investing in technology to make our platform faster, more sophisticated, and easier to use.
- We’ve also grown our Editorial Team are now recruiting Volunteer Editors from our community to increase outreach and improve our standards.
