Ground Report

Laura Palotie: I was born and raised in Helsinki, Finland until 1998 when, at 16, I moved to the U.S with my family. I got my BA in Creative and Professional Writing from Carnegie Mellon University, and will receive by journalism master's degree from NYU this December. I've previously written for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Blue Wings (the in-flight magazine of Finnair), Nokia Trade, Time Out New York Kids and Actorslife.com. My area of interest is in cultural and arts reporting.
