It saddens me to see so much hatred in our society and I often wonder why? There’s people hating other people, countries hating and fighting, groups against other groups, nationalities hating and fighting other nationalities…why is there such hatred brewing in the souls of man and why can people not come to an agreement with each other?
Brother against brother and family against each other too why? In the Holy Bible, King James Version, and in the Book of John 1, Verse 4:20, it tells people, “If a man says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? God’s word tells people in Proverbs 10:12, “Hatred stirs up strife’s: but love covers all sins.
It’s an opinion of mine that if people begin to express love and understanding through communications and sitting down to discuss, listen, and hear what another person has to say there can be a better understanding of others beliefs and teachings. People don’t you think it’s time to “listen” and to hear what others are saying and believing?
Is there a misunderstanding among the different nationalities of people in our world? What does each nationality need and desire to share with other nationalities that they’re disgruntled about? Could it be that people does not understand their beliefs and teachings? People should listen and respect others beliefs and teachings and try to come to an agreement to fix any existing problems instead of allowing hatred to fester and grow to the point of an explosion. It’s my belief that people do not listen and understand others chosen ways of life and beliefs and this leads to the strife and hatred that exists in today society.
God’s word tells people in Psalm 97:10, “You that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserves the souls of his saints; he delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.”
I believe God’s children should reach out their hands for an offering of peace and love to all people because the closer people walk with their Lord and fellowship with Him, people will be more conscious of sin and be more humble to others beliefs and teachings. People need to listen and to hear how others have been taught to live in their lives and respect their beliefs as well.
Christians who know and understand God’s attributes of compassion, understanding, character and love, the more people will love Him, the more they will detest and hate the things that are contrary to His word and His attributes.
It’s my belief that people are a seed from God and we’re all brothers and sisters through Him.
When people have hatred against others, it should be rectified through communication and prayer with them. The Lord mentions hatred in the Sermon on the Mount, “But I say unto you, that whosoever is angry with his brother without cause shall be in danger of the judgement: and whosoever says to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of hell fire, see Matthew 5:22.”
It’s my belief that God’s word is telling people to communicate, listen, and reconcile with their brothers before they go before Him. God’s word also tells people, “Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother ought against thee; leave there your gift before the altar, and go your way; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are in the way with him; less at any time the adversary deliver you to the judge, and the judge delivers you to the officer, and you be cast into prison. Verily, I say unto you, you shall by no means come out until, till you have paid the uttermost farthing,” see Matthew 5: 23 thru 26.
Hatred can brew from simple things as well as greater things and the bitterness within will grow so large it will destroy people’s souls, hearts and minds. It can bring war between people and countries, destroying many lives and ruining villages. Hatred poisons relationships with governments and nations. God’s word tells people, “Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby man be defiled, ” see Hebrews 12:14.
Hatred is the root of pure evil and it’s my belief people should communicate and listen when they feel hatred brewing in their souls and hearts, they should not allow its poison to take up root in their space.
