As Floyd Mayweather Jr contemplates on his self-imposed retirement and a financially rewarding match with Manny Pacquiao, another equally good revenue generating match is in the offing.
Ricky Hatton, whom Mayweather defeated in their last match, is floating the idea of a rematch. “We had a conversation with a third party last night asking whether, if we were approached by a Mayweather team, a possible Match would be on the cards. Hatton’s father Ray said Wednesday.

“Pacquiao is now regarded as the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world and that’s the fight that Ricky would like. I know all the fans would like to see it as well because you’ll get the excitement”, Ray Hatton said.
In the inquirer.net/inquirer sports today, Hatton’s lawyer, Gareth Williams said, “Every welterweight in the world wants to fight Hatton. We also had approaches from people in the 130 pounds level.
