Jammu, December 19 (Scoop News) –HDFC Bank, the second-largest private bank in the country, today opened two branches in Jammu & Kashmir. The two branches are located at Poonch and Rajouri. With these, the Bank now has 45 branches in the state. As of September 30, 2012 HDFC Bank has a countrywide network of 2,620 branches and 10,316 ATMs.
Ajaz Ahmed Jan, MLA, Haweli Poonch and A.K. Sahu, District Development Commissioner, Poonch, jointly cut the ribbon at the Poonch branch, while the Rajouri branch was inaugurated by Hon’ble of State for Power Development & Transport, Shabir Ahmed Khan.
The new branches will offer customers world-class banking services under one roof ranging from basic services such as Savings Account, Fixed Deposits, Current Account, Mutual Funds, Insurance, Two-wheeler loan, Auto loan to sophisticated direct access banking channels such as ATM, PhoneBanking, NetBanking and International Credit and Debit Cards.
