Jammu,April 30 (Scoop News) – 3rd Intra J&K ‘Heart to Heart’ Talks-2011 have been postponed for the unavoidable reason till next month. Sardar Mohd. The organizers from both sides of LoC announced after consultation to postpone the talks till middle of June, 2011.

Prof. Bhim Singh expressed thanks to Dr. Karan Singh who had agreed to inaugurate the conclave on May 1, 2011 and Sardar Mohd. Abdul Qayyum Khan had agreed to preside over the conclave. Prof. Bhim Singh also expressed thanks to s. Sheila Dixit, the Chief Minister, NCT of Delhi for participating in a valedictory session on May 3, 2011. Prof. Bhim Singh also expressed thanks Dr. Karan Singh, Subodh Kant Sahai, Tourism Minister for hosting lunch. He also thanked Ram Jethmalani, President of Bar Association of the Supreme Court, Mufti Mohd. Sayeed, s. Khalida Begum for having arranged dinners during the talks to the participants. Prof. Bhim Singh also expressed thanks to the galaxy of intellectuals, prominent human rights and social activists like Justice Rajinder Sachchar, Kuldip Nayyar, Inderjeet, M.K. Rasgotra, Dr. V.P. Vaidik, H.K. Dua, Balraj Puri and several other notables who had agreed to join Heart to Heart Talks.
Prof. Bhim Singh expressed appreciation of different sections of the Hurriyat Conference including Moulvi Umer Farooq, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Prof. Abdul Ghani Bhat, Shabir Shah, Yasin Malik, Sajjad Lone, Naeem Khan, G.N. Var, Bilal Lone, Abbas Ansari, former Chief Justice Bahuddin Farooqui and several others for their highly commendable cooperation for the success of 3rd Intra J&K ‘Heart to Heart’ Talks-2011.
Prof. Bhim Singh expressed gratitude to Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India for ensuring timely visas in favour of the invitees to the talks without any problem or complication.
Prof. Bhim Singh, the Convenor of the conclave said that the next date of the conclave shall be announced after his visit to Muzaffrabad and meeting with the Chairman of the Intra J&K Heart to Heart Talks namely Sardar Mohd. Abdul Qayyum Khan. However, he said that our ‘resolve’ to build bridges of peace between New Delhi and Islamabad has been strengthened by the encouragements we have received from Delhi, Islamabad and other members of the civil society on both sides.
