Hilton Pattaya supports community and environmental program

PATTAYA, Thailand – October 9, 2015 – Hilton Pattaya in cooperation with the international non-government organization “World Wide Fund Nature” (WWF) recently implemented the Zero waste project in Noen Tang Rod Fai district, Pattaya by supporting community with containers and biological inoculum for making EM liquid (effective microorganism).

Hilton Pattaya’s Director of Human Resource Montree Sattham said, “We are so glad to be a part of this project and to help support the community. We are supporting and providing advice on very simple actions about recycling from wet waste (biodegradable), which aims to address waste management in the area by working with the community to collect and manage their household wastes. And we believe this EM liquid will support sustainable practices in farming, improve composting operations, efficiency of wastewater treatment plants in the community.”

Our goal is to build more environmentally conscious society and to show how the profit can be generated from this waste; less of it will be thrown away, thereby reducing pressure on the city’s waste management system.
