Srinagar, January 16 (Scoop News) –Srinagar Police apprehended a Hizbul-Mujahidin militant outfit at Maltang Dalgate, Srinagar.
According to Police that Police party of police station R.M Bagh apprehended a militant Feroz Ahmed Bhat of Hizbul Mujahidin outfit son of Abdul Gani resident of Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar at Maltang Dalgate, Srinagar in the jurisdiction of police station R.M Bagh, and recovered an AK 47 rifle, two AK magazines, twenty six rounds of AK 47 and one wireless set from his possession. A case has been registered in this regard.
Meanwhile One person died and eight others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.
In continuation to road accident at Barsoo National Highway on 05.01.2013 between a Truck bearing registration number JK03/8425 and Tavera bearing registration number JK01B/0238, the injured Sameer Ahmad Parna son of Mohammad Yousuf resident of Banihal who was admitted in SKIMS Soura, succumbed to his injuries.
A Santro Car bearing registration number JK05B/1691 driven by Aqib Rashid Bhat son of Abdul Rashid resident of Kralpora, Delina hit and injured a pedestrian Umer Shahzad Mir, age 25 years, son of Shahzad Ahmad resident of Deewanbagh at Degree college, Baramulla. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK09/0405 on way from Kupwara to Drugmulla driven by Wali Mohammad Shah son of Assadullah resident of Drugmulla, turned turtle, resulting in injuries to seven passengers travelling in the vehicle. All the injured have been shifted to Sub District Hospital Kupwara for treatment, one of them was referred to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for further treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
Boy ends life in Bandipora
Nasir Ahmed Dar @ Nowroz, age 23 years, son of Bashir Ahmed resident of Zalpora, Nowgam, Bandipora consumed some poisonous substance at his home, in the jurisdiction of police station Sumbal. He was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Sumbal for treatment where from he was referred to SMHS, Srinagar, where doctors declared him brought died.
Bandipora Police has initiated an inquest proceeding under section 174 CrPC in this regard.
