KARACHI: Pakistan hockey team’s training camp for preparation for the Asia Cup will begin from August 19 in Karachi. Thirty-five players, including Imran Warsi, have been invited in the training camp.
According to the spokesman of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, training camp will be held at the Hockey Club of Pakistan Stadium, Karachi for preparation for the Asia Cup, which will be played from August 31 in Chennai, India.
Invited also in the camp are Ateeq, Irfan, Adeel and Zeeshan Farooqui, who have displayed good performance in the recently-held PHF Grooming Hockey Tournament.
Imran Warsi, who could not take part in the four-nation hockey tournament in China due to shoulder injury, will participate in the camp after recovery.
