Holi helps Japanese tourists to forget the trauma of tsunami

A group of Japanese tourists to Orissa played Holi with great pleasure at Puri, which helped them to beat the blues of tsunami that devastated their country recently. Around twenty tourists, including some girls joined the festivities of Holi by smearing hues on the faces of passers-by and other tourists and in return got smeared with colors.

Apart from the Japanese tourists, a number of tourists from different nations also participated in Holi. Although the waves of sea at Puri reminded the Japanese about tsunami, the reveling in colors gave them a unique mood to celebrate. India Japanese friendship center(IJFC) organized Holi festival for the Japanese.
