Does it make sense that I have to pay about 30% of my salary to the government? I can understand the disabled people need help and I am willing to help. But how much will that cost? If you count the money spent on compulsory schooling and military, that would explain the 30%. But I am against compulsory schooling and military. Why should a big part of my money be used to build prisons for kids and to destroy peace all over the world? I work hard and sacrifice much of my individual freedom just to contribute to this machine? Thinking of this drives me insane.
Should we pay income tax at all?
