How The Soul Of Man Began

Many people have asked how did the soul of man begin; the Holy Bible, King James Version, and in Genesis 2:7, it tells people, “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul?”

The soul and the Spirt are not one in the same, there’s a distinct difference that man cannot ignore. God’s word tells people in the New Testament, and in Hebrews 4: 12, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and Spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart; and in 1 Thessalonians 5: 23, “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole Spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

It’s my belief that people’s soul is a part of the human body and mind given by God to a person to live in while we’re here upon the earth; and it controls people’s thoughts, desires, ideas, emotions and rationales’ of humans; and the “Spirit” is contained in the human body and mind being there since the inception of their life;” and it’s controlled by physical bodily demonic affliction (Luke 13:11) and/or mental (soul) demonic affliction (Matthew 17:15, 18).

People often ask, “How can they obtain a soul;” and the Bible tells people in the Old Testament and in Isaiah 55:3, “Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David?”

It’s my opinion God is instructing His people in His word to believe in Him and the “soul” shall live and have an everlasting “covenant” with Him. The Bible tells us in the New Testament and in Peter 1: 22 – 23, “See you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love the brethren, see that you love one another with a pure heart fervently; and being born again, not of corruptible see, but of incorruptible, by the word of God which lives and abides forever.”

I believe people’s Spirit controls the souls of mankind until a person accepts God into their life and then the Spirit becomes brand “new.” People are “no longer” the same person because they’re born of God and made alive through Him as a new person. Their Spirit becomes anew. It tells people in the New Testament and in John 4: 24, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth.”

The Spirit of people is reborn and made new but the soul of man is not born again but transformed by the renewing of a person’s mind.

Once a person has accepted God into their life and their sins have been forgiven, our souls (that is our minds) must be transformed and purified by the washing of the word:
Ephesians 5: 26 tells people, “That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.”

The Spirits of people are reborn and they’re made anew as soon as we accept Christ…but the soul of man is not born again, only their minds are. The soul has past spiritual grime and dirt from their earlier ways of living their lives in sin; and this causes many Christians to continue to struggle through their lives because of their past sins are washed clean.

The New Testament and in 2 Corinthians 3: 17, it tells people, “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty;” and in 2 Corinthians 5: 17 it tells people, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.”

I believe the “Spirit” is in every human being from the inception of life because of its demonic ability to stir people to commit sins and if there wasn’t a Spirit, there would be “no” sin from humans. Sin is what brought Jesus Christ to the cross to die for mankind’s sin and it offers a human the ability to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and to live eternally with Him in Heaven.
