The odds of Mike Huckabee winning the GOP nomination are slim by statistics. However, a campaign suspension from Mitt Romney who is well-financed is considered a victory for Mike Huckabee. As a result, Huckabee considers this a victory.
Huckabee who is considered to be the candidate of the poor man has resented how Romney spent his own money to finance numerous ads.
“My feeling is if anymore should step aside, maybe Mr. Romney should. After all, he’s the one that spent 100 million dollars to have the same market share that I’ve had for seven million,” Huckabee said after Romney called it a two-man race between himself and McCain.
Huckabee added: “I would say that anyone with an MBA from Harvard business school would probably look at that kind of analysis and say, ya know his product isn’t selling as well as mine is for the amount of money he spent on the market.”
Huckabee’s competition has dropped out one primary date late on a regular basis. Fred Thompson had dropped out after the South Carolina primary. As a result, Thompson had sucked away support from Huckabee’s Evangelical base.
Giuliani did not drop out of Florida until he got an edge over Huckabee and then throwing his support behind McCain.
The suspension of Romney’s bid comes after the spilt with Huckabee on Super Tuesday.
