Hugo Chavez Made Into Voodoo Dolls

The populist and socialist President Hugo Chavez is getting enough publicity outside of his beloved and partially free country of Venezuela. Hugo Chavez, the idol of Hollywood geeks like Sean Penn, is having big followers not for his political and weird ideology but for the voodoo dolls made out of his image.

The Chavez voodoo dolls are having brisk sales since it was introduced in Colombia recently. The unique Chavez voodoo doll is custom-tailored for those who believed and practiced the traditional voodoo rituals which is incidentally is a popular belief in South America.

According to the report, the Chavez voodoo doll was developed to give Colombians a way to do their rituals to cast spell or incantations against Hugo Chavez who supports Colombia’s FARC rebels, known for their terroristic and kidnapping activities.

As it turned out, in a surprised move taken by the fallible Hugo Chavez, he asked the FARC rebels to lay down their arms and end their nonsense arm struggle that catapulted Colombia as the kidnapping capital of the world in recent memory.

True or not, the Chavez voodoo doll has helped create awareness among the citizens of Colombia that their country have suffered enough from the many years of terror done by the rebels and the influence exerted by Hugo Chavez.

I am just hoping that voodoo dolls also be created to be used against corrupt and repressive government officials elsewhere in the world. Perhaps, this is the only easy way to exact punishment or retribution against the people in government.

The Chavez voodoo doll sounds ridiculous but at least it gives impetus to the people that frustrations can be brought out by pin-piercing the voodoo dolls with the image of their politicos and croc and repressive government officials.
