Humiliating attitude of militants

 

‘Taliban militants have misbehaved yesterday with females of my family in Dara Adam Khel tribal area, the car in which my family  female members accompanied by a male member of the family were coming from Peshawar towards Kohat were stopped by militants for checking, female members were compelled to remove their veils and male member was compelled to pull down his shirt to show his bare back, afterwards when militants were satisfied that my family members are not Shia were allowed to travel towards Kohat,’ Mr. Muhammad Irshad Qureishi has said.

He says that today while coming from Peshawar to Kohat for attending funeral prayers of deceased Mr. Faridullah, he was stopped by militants covering their faces with black peace of cloth in tribal area of Dara Adam Khel, militants had checked the identity cards of passengers of a van in which he was traveling and afterwards the van was allowed to move towards Kohat.

‘Taliban militants suddenly appear on road and they do not have permanent check posts, I was stopped during the evening prayers time by militants, from Speen Mosque till entrance of Kohat tunnel road in Dara Adam Khel tribal area was blocked by militants, a dead body was also kept by the roadside, no Taliban militant had attended his evening prayers they were busy in checking identity cards of travelers, faces of  all of them were covered by black piece of cloth, when I talked to a militant in Pushto he had replied in Urdu language,’ Mr. Abdul Waris a government servant has said.

‘Total seven CD shops in only Togh village of Kohat are destroyed with explosives on in Togh village of Kohat by Taliban militants warning letters were served by militants to shop owners prior to their destruction, a secret gang of militants is active in village areas of Kohat,’ a resident of Togh village has said.

Deputy Inspector General Kohat Police Mr. Zulfikar Cheema has said that journalists shall educate the people while making news reports, and shall condemn sectarian violence by adding condemnation statements of people while reporting incidents of sectarian violence, he was talking to journalist s during tea break in a seminar held today  at district council hall Kohat KDA.
