Hyundai Motor India’s second largest car maker which started shipping its latest compact car "i10" seven months ago from India has now crossed the 100000 units mark in its export. This car is a world class compact car and is in great demand in the European countries.
The first debut of "i10" car was in Bologna, Italy, in December, 2007. Since its debut it has been exported to as many as 98 countries. According to company it has exported 1,06,749 units of this car.
Beside international markets this car also has a good demand in the domestic markets of India. The sales in domestic markets is over 65,000 units.
A new model of "i10" is going to hit the markets shortly. This new model will be powered by a 1.2 litre all aluminium engine, under the code name "Kappa". This engine is being developed at the Hundai Motor’s Chennai facility
When this new model comes into the market Hyundai Motor will eye for another milestone.
