“I am a different brand from Zaheer” says RP

"I don’t buy the theory that one left-armer too many makes the attack predictable. Zaheer and I are completely different brands of bowlers. He relies a lot on his swing and cutters while I get the ball to skid through." said RP Singh.

"One of the most important things I have realised is creativity on different pitches. I had a great spell in Perth last year but that does not mean I would keep bowling the same length everywhere across the world.”

"My length would definitely vary a lot in the sub-continent."

"No I do not want to be anywhere above eight. I am happy with a number eight tag," he says laughing.

"I don’t know whether I will be selected for the New Zealand tour. But honestly, I do not have any plans for the series yet. I take it as it comes."
