I Believe In Angels

A person in life may ask if you believe in angels; and in my opinion I must reply, yes I do because Gods word tells people in The Bible, King James Version, and The Book of Psalms 91: 10 – 11, “There shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come nigh your dwelling; for he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.”

The Bibles meaning for “angel” means messenger or divine communication. And in The Book of Psalms 34: 7, it tells people, “The angel of the Lord encamps round about them that fear him, and delivers them.

It’s my opinion God would not have told people there were angels to keep people in their ways if it were not so. The people of Jesus believe that angels acted as God’s ambassadors; and had superhuman powers, and were messengers of God.

In the Bible and in the Letter to the Epistle of Paul Hebrews 2: 5 – 8, it tells people, “For unto which of the angels said he at any time, you art my Son, this day have I begotten you? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? And again, when he brings in the first begotten into the world, he said, “And let all the angels of God worship him. And the angels he said, who makes his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son he said, “Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a scepter of righteousness s the scepter of your kingdom. “

These verses in Hebrews permit people to be aware that angels were created by God and that they were subordinate to Jesus Christ. It’s my opinion angels are celestial, spiritual beings with nature superior to human nature, but they’re lower than God’s nature.

In the Bible and in the Gospel of John 5: 3 – 4, there was a multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water; and an angel went down at the certain season into the pool, and moved the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease they had. This to me is a powerful message to show people how God sent an angel to heal those who were lame, removing their diseases.

There are all sorts of angels mentioned in the Bible, i.e., archangels, angels, cherubim and seraphim and also a fallen angel who disobeyed God whose name was Lucifer.

The Old Testament of the Bible refers to supernatural beings, i.e., Cherubim, Seraphim, the heavenly host and the holy ones. (See Ezekiel 28: 11 – 19)

Angels were created by God: Read in the Bible in the Book of Moses Called Genesis, Genesis 2: 1; Colossians 1: 16; Luke 20: 36 this clearly describes angels were created by God; and Revelation 4: 8 and in Luke 20:36 it also tells people angels were created to live for an eternity; and in Job 38: 1 -7 it tells people, “Then the Lord answered Job out of the storm. He said: “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? While the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy; and in Matthew 22:30 it tells people, “At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in Heaven; and read in 2 Samuel 14: 17 and Daniel 9: 21 – 22 that angels are wise and intelligent; and read in Daniel 10: 14, Luke 15:10 that angels have knowledge of, and interest in, the affairs of men; and read in Daniel 9: 21 and Revelation 14:6 that angels are faster than men.”

In the Bible and in Revelation 4: 8 it tells people, “And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within; and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

People I believe in angels and I believe that they do appear in human form or in the form that God chooses for the circumstance required for those who are in need. God’s word tells people much about angels and how they look and work in our world today. I’ve tried to provide as much information about why I believe in angels so that you can read and make your own determination. Have you ever had an angel experience?
