It has been brought to my attention by another journalist on groundreport.com, thenewmentalist, that I may have seemed a little to proud of my country. While I am proud to live in the United States I do not believe we are the center of the Earth or the mighty superpower that we once were. In all actuality I believe that the United States has become a second rate power in today’s world because of the decision making by our governments administration.
The administration has in my opinion, and 74% of the populations opinion to put it lightly, has screwed things up bad for the U.S. and the rest of the world. We’ve dragged innocent countries into a battle that will never be won, the president has made choices that are more than questionable, and our allies have lost faith in our country because of these decisions. So, while I do love my country I don’t love our governments decision making abilities and I do realize the impact we have made on the rest of the world due to those decisions.
The United States government has added more to the turmoil than many of these little terrorist groups they are chasing after, while Bush says we are doing this to help rid the world of them. I won’t go as far as calling Bush a terrorist but I will say he has done more damage than most of those groups out there and he has fixed very little, if anything at all.
Now I am not bashing the United States as a country because we are a great country with great people for the most part. But, a few bad apples can make the tree as a whole look rotten and that is what I am saying Bush and his administration has done to our country. They are more than a few bad apples strong and the rest of the world is looking at them as an example of what our people are like in the United States. We are not them and they are not us. They in no way represent the way we want things done. They in no way represent the American people as they were voted into office to do. Thank you and goodnight.
