Per Ice News, Iceland has had “438 earthquakes” in 48 hours, mostly small tremors and aftershocks but still an enormous amount of seismic activity. The most notable earthquake registered at 6.1 on the Richter Scale, per BBC.
Twitterers in Iceland documented a number of quakes at different times in the last 24 hours:

Some pointed out that Saturday’s quakes occurred on the one-year anniversary of a 6.3-magnitude Icelandic earthquake.
