Crashing iconic columns may not be something people in New York are used to seeing, but they can catch a glimpse of one that just fell off WonderWorks, located in Syracuse. As the column crashed, it also shattered the summer admission rates. Kids of all ages can stop in and check out the big hole in the floor and explore all the fun of WonderWorks.
“The prices for WonderWorks, Laser Tag and the Ropes Course have fallen so low they seemed to have shaken everything up here at wonderworks. Our building is already upside down you know, so it is no wonder that another part fell off,” says Nicole Montgomery, director of operations at WonderWorks Destiny. “Luckily the main structure is totally safe for kids of all ages and all of our 100 great exhibits are still open.”
A large section of the floor at Destiny USA appears to have a hole in it this morning. Falling WonderWorks prices seem to have been the cause of an architectural column breaking loose and crashing through the floor. A section of Destiny USA’s Canyon floor will be closed off for this summer, although adventuresome guests are allowed to walk right up to the edge and even try and jump over the chasm.
Those visiting WonderWorks will also find a variety of fun family friendly interactive activities to engage in, including:
· Laser tag arena – Friends and family compete in a game of laser tag.
· 4D XD Motion Theater – showing family fun movies the family will never forget.
· Canyon Climb Adventure – featuring 70 feet, 3 stories, and 81 obstacles to challenge everyone.
· WonderZones – offering a variety of areas to explore, such as natural disasters, physical challenges, light and sound zones, imagination lab, and space discovery.
· Sky Tykes ropes course – an activity for kids under 48”.

“Destiny USA is not sinking and there is not really a giant hole in the canyon. This is all just a publicity stunt by WonderWorks to announce the lower prices and get thousands of more tourists and Canadians to visit Syracuse, WonderWorks and Destiny USA,” Mall Manager Rob Schoeneck.
