I am a Christian.
I have been chosen by the Holy Spirit of God Almighty, to speak up for God in an effort to teach and correct when necessary.
This is the number one reason why I remain in association with the Catholic Church, so that when called to do so, I can reach out to Catholics and try to teach them, that which God knows and sees as wrong.
I want to get really personal with you my reader now.
What if any religious denomination, do you consider yourself as?
Are you a Christian? Are you Jewish? Are you Roman Catholic?
Are you maybe one of the Orthodox? Are you Protestant, Anglican, Baptist, Lutheran, Seventh Day Advents, Presbyterian, Jehovah Witness, just to name a few of the more popular ones?
Even though, I was born and brought up to be Roman Catholic.
I am ashamed to be thought of as one. That is my cross to carry.
It’s not like you think though, I am morally ashamed for the Roman Catholic Church.
I am filled with moral indignation for the church for its belief that it is the source of the Christian religion throughout the world. How dare they declare themselves as “Thee Church.”
Roman Catholicism merely for the lack of a better word adopted or stole the doctrines the precepts, the teachings of Jesus Christ and of Christianity claiming them as their own. They added a few scriptures here and there to try and liturgically legitimize their claim, added some Pagan celebration rites and called itself the Roman Catholic Church and then, added Peter, a man who had been dead for more than three hundred years as the first “Pope” or leader. What a ludicrous pretense, what hypocrisy, what possible blasphemy, to set itself above the church of Christ the Son of God established by Christ himself .
Furthermore, the Holy Book we now call the Holy Bible was re-assembled by the Catholic Church thus excluding much more important Gospels in order to try and establish itself as “The Church”. Such apostolic gospels such as the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Mary Magdalene, the Gospel of Judas Iscariot and others were deliberately excluded simply because it did not agree with Roman Catholic Doctrines. Having an “Ego” is a sin, unless it happens to be the church and its ego, Wrong!
Christianity and the Christian movement was started and based upon the new teachings of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Christianity was even named in His name, Christ.
Christianity is based upon the teachings of the Holy Bible which includes both the “Old and New Testaments” but not if you are Catholic for the Holy Bible becomes secondary to a book called the “Catechism of The Catholic Church” which is a book which totally twist things around and takes you away from the teachings of the Bible.
The Catechism is used by the Catholic Church to brainwash its congregation from kindergarten age in how one should think and act, and it takes a very strong mind to be able to stand against such brainwashing and come out unscathed. I was fortunate. I survived with the power of the Holy Spirit being active within me at such a young age.
Jesus started the Christian movement 325 years prior to Roman Catholicism. The name alone Roman Catholic tells us that this religion was begun by some Roman in Rome, and Pilate was a Roman soldier and Governor of Judea under Caesar. He was the man who ordered Jesus crucified. It was a Roman Emperor named Constantine who set up Catholicism not Jesus and when he set it up he instituted several Pagan and Druid celebration days into the teachings of the Roman Catholic Doctrines
Not only does the Roman Catholic Church proclaim itself as the beginning of the religious movement, it in error declares a man who had been dead for some 325 years to be its leader its first Pope. They do so by taking out of context a biblical quotation of Jesus at MATTHEW: 16:18; where Jesus says to Peter, “Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
Jesus is telling Simon Bar jo na, that Jesus is going to refer to him as Peter, but in no way is Jesus planning to establish a church, a new religion based on Peter. Jesus is the “Rock” “The cornerstone” for Jesus new church. Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, God incarnate, so why would Jesus be establishing his new religious order upon Peter.
Time and time again Peter proves himself unworthy of most anything because of his lack of trust and faith in Jesus, like the time Jesus orders him to cast his nets for a catch, he argues that there is no fish to be caught in the Sea of Galilee, then ends up filling his nets with more fish than he can handle. Or the time when Jesus is seen walking upon the sea and calls out to Peter to join him. We all know what happened there. Peter loses his faith, and sinks. Or the time when Jesus and Peter are discussing Jesus future death; MATTHEW: 16: 23; Jesus speaks to Peter and states “Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savour not the things that be of God but those of men.”
This was spoken to Peter only (4 verses) later. How is it possible for Jesus the holy Son of God to be even think of building his church upon one whom he refers to as “Satan” Not only would that be totally wrong in the eyes of God it would be blasphemous, a sin against the Holy Spirit, and such a sin Jesus declared as the unforgivable sin.
Peter is also prone to violence as he proves when he uses a sword to cut off the ear of a soldier when Jesus is arrested. Furthermore, Peter betrays his faith for the Son of God when three times he denies Jesus just as Jesus predicted to Peter he would do, moments before Jesus was takes to Caiaphas the High Priest.
After the resurrection, Jesus greets his apostles on the beach and three times Jesus asks Peter; “Do you love me?” The Son of God would not have to ask the question more than once, for he would know Peters heart, but he gives Peter three opportunities to change his mind, change his answer, knowing how often Peter had stumbled over his faith in the past.
